Hpa-an 12 February

In commemoration of 73rd Union Day, a ceremony to open a school building in Basic Education Post-Primary School in Hpa-an was held in front of the building this morning.

First, Kayin State Minister for Planning, Finance and Municipal Affairs U Than Naing, State Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Saw Myint Oo, State Minister for Electricity and Industry U Soe Hlaing and State Minister for Social Affairs U Bo Bo Wai Maung opened the school building.

Then, State Minister for Planning, Finance and Municipal Affairs U Than Naing gave opening remarks and a responsible person from the construction company handed over proper documents relating to the school facility to the education department.

The Basic Education Primary School was opened on 15 June, 2015. In 2018-2019 FY, a total of 15 San Pya schools were opened across the nation.
