New school building opening ceremony to mark the 102nd Anniversary of National Victory Day took place in Basic Education High School in the Town of Ingapu, Myanaung District, Ayeyarwady Region on November 17 afternoon.

First, Chief Minister of Ayeyarwady Region Government U Tin Maung Win, the Region Minister for Security and Border Affairs Colonel Moe Min Naing, the Region Minister for Transportation Police Major Tin Zaw Tun, Deputy Director of the Region Education officer’s office U Tin Hlaing and community leader cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the school.

Afterwards, secretary of the Region Government U Wai Zin Tun handed over Ks. 5 million donated by Global Art Company to U Aung Kyaw Moe, Chairman of the School Supervisory Committee. In addition, community leader U Aung Myat Kyaw handed over Ks. 10 million contributed by well-wishers to staff officer of the Township Education officer’s office U Hla Htut.

Then, the region CM and officials sprinkled scented water on the school’s signboard and looked round the school facility. The one-story school facility measuring 120 ft. in length was built with Ks. 42.2 million allocated by regional government in 2022-2023 FY.
