A school upgrading ceremony was held in Thayetchin Village, Salin Township in Magway Regin yesterday morning.
    
The upgraded school was formally opened by the Speaker of the Regional Parliament U Tar, Regional MP U Thet Khaing, and Chairperson of the regional National League for Democracy U Thein Aung, U Ye Naing, the Staff Officer from the Department of Education and Township Administrator U Hein Hset. Next, the regional MP explained educational reforms being taken by the government. 
    
The headmistress also expressed words of thanks for upgrading the school. A total of 73 schools across the township were upgraded in the academic year 2019-2020.—Soe Moe Thu (Salin)
