Security cameras with Artificial Intelligence to be equipped in Mandalay

With the aim of ensuring public safety in Mandalay Region, arrangements are being made to install security cameras with Artificial Intelligence-AI in three townships, according to a source from the regional government.

The security cameras with AI will have facial recognition system that will inform traffic accidents to nearby police stations and the police headquarters. The security cameras with AI will be equipped by Huawei Company. 

“In Mandalay, three townships and two Technological Universities will be installed security cameras. It is estimated that it will cost K 1,900 million” said Regional Minister for Electricity, Energy and Construction U Zarni Aung.

A survey is being conducted by the MFF and Huawei Company to install security camera and an arrangement has been made to sign an agreement with Huawei Company in June.
