Officials from the Town Department of Social Welfare under Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement paid a domiciliary visit to the homes of senior citizens to provide social pension in Dawlan village tract in Painkyone sub-Township, Kayin Sate on yesterday and dispensed social pension to senior citizens aged 85 and above in the sub Township.

Under this cash aid program, 16 elderly people who are eligible for social pension in the sub-Township received Ks. 30000 each for the months of October, November and December in 2021-2022 FY.

Officials from the Township DRD continue to provide 341 senior citizens including 126 men and 215 women who are eligible for social pension in five wards and 27 village tract in the sub-Township on a door to door basis.—Painkyone(IPRD)
