Social pension and cash assistance during COVID-19 pandemic were presented to the senior citizens above 85 years old from Sedoktaya Township, Magway Region on a door-to-door basis this morning.

The Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Kyaw Aung Lwin, Magway Region MPs Daw Nyo Nyo Oo and U Tun Tun, officials from the General Administration Department and members of the township maternal and child welfare association provided Ks. 60,000 to each elderly person in the township.

Sedoktaya Township has 203 elderly people above 85 years old and the remaining senior citizens in rural areas would be furnished by village administrators.—Sithu Lwin (IPRD)
