Officials provided social pension to seniors citizens who are eligible for social pension in Market Ward in Yatsauk Township, Shan State (South) yesterday on a door to door basis.

Under this cash aid program, five elderly people aged 85 years and above including three men and two women received Ks. 30000 each for the months of October, November and December in 2021-2022 FY.

There are 251 senior citizens above 85 years old in Yatsauk Township. Staff from the Township Department of Social Welfare continue to provide social pension to the remaining elderly people in the Township.—Ye Htet Oo(IPRD)
