The high-level Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who paid an official visit to the Republic of Buryatia of the Russian Federation after attending the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF 2025) in Minsk of the Republic of Belarus left Baikal International Airport from Ulan-Ude of the Republic of Buryatia by special aircraft for Myanmar yesterday afternoon.
The Senior General, his wife and entourage were seen off at the airport by Head of the Republic of Buryatia Mr Aleksey Sambuyevich Tsydenov and officials, Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation U Thit Linn Ohn, Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Kyaw Soe Oo and officials.
The Senior General and his wife were accompanied by Council Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo and his wife, and delegation members.
During the visits, the Senior General attended the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF 2025) in Minsk of the Republic of Belarus, held a separate meeting with the Rotating Chair of Eurasian Economic Union-EAEU President of the Republic of Belarus, met with the Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board, and toured factories. Moreover, the Senior General could strive to further strengthen strategic cooperation in friendship, economic and security issues between governments and people of both countries and economic development measures with Eurasian Economic Union–EAEU member countries.
While in the Republic of Buryatia of the Russian Federation, the Senior General visited factories and further cemented cooperation in friendship, economic, education, health, science and technology and industrial technological sectors.
The delegation led by the Senior General arrived back at Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport in the evening. They were welcomed back by SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win and his wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Council Secretary General Aung Lin Dwe and his wife, SAC members, Union ministers, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar and officials from the embassy and the office of the Military Attaché. — MNA/TTA
