Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who was in Visakhapatnam, India at the invitation of India’s Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa, left for Pune, India, by Indian air force special flight on 26th July and visited the National Defence Academy-NDA in Pune.
First, the delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Myanmar cadets attending courses at the NDA.
He urged the cadets to acquire the skills and knowledge systematically during the training.
Afterwards, the Senior General met with Air Marshal IP Vipin, Commandant of the National Defence Academy and discussed the training at the NDA.
Afterwards, an officer of the NDA gave a briefing about the NDA and Senior General Min Aung Hlaing raised questions.
Afterwards, the Myanmar military delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited the Academy and observed the hostels and the mess hall for the trainees.
The delegation also attended a lunch hosted by the Commandant of NDA.
