Ngape 21 February

Under the National Electrification Project (NEP), 389 houses in seven villages in Ngape Township, Minbu District, Magway Region have been distributed electricity via solar panels, according to Township Officer from Township Department of Rural Development U Wai Lin Maung.

Local residents need to pay K 50,000 for use of 60 Watt and K 150,000 for 100 Watt. The cost of solar panels in school, rural clinic, lamp post and religious building will be paid by the project. 

Installation of solar panels is being implemented in Mayoekan, Manaung, Kanywa, Nyaungkinegyi, Sitha, Suepadaung and Kanpauk villages and it has been completed by 100 percent.
