Dimawhso 28 May
With a view to greening natural environment and helping reduce climate change, the Forest Department will plant more than 90,000 saplings and distribute the seedlings to some villages in Dimawhso Township, Kayah State in the rainy season.

A nursery for various kinds of saplings such as teak, pine and hardwood was established in Dimawhso Township. The seedlings will be supplied to be planted in some wards, villages, and government offices. In addition, saplings will be distributed to local people who want to grow the seedlings, according to an official from the Forest Department.
In an attempt to prevent wards, villages, government offices and schools from riverbank erosion, the department is allotting saplings to local people.—Ri Yal (Dimawhso)
