Lashio, 4 March

The Chief Minister of Shan State Dr. Lin Htut attended the opening ceremony of the office of the Shan State (North) Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Lashio this morning.

The inscription of the office was formally opened by Commander of North-East Command Maj-Gen Aung Zaw Aye, President of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) U Zaw Min Win, Secretary of Shan State Government U Soe Soe Zaw, Director-General of the Department of Consumer Affairs U Myint Lwin, and Chairman of the the Shan State (North) Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry U Sai Bo Bo by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.

Next, the chief minister and concerned officials sprinkled scented water on the plaque of the office. The opening of the office followed in which the chief minister and the UMFCCI president delivered addresses. Chairman of the the Shan State (North) Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry U Sai Bo Bo made a supplementary explanation.
