The Myanmar National league side Shan United has signed a half-season deal with Ghanaian defender Tagoe Daniel on undisclosed fee.
Five-foot-nine-inch tall Tagoe Daniel was born in Ghana in 1986. He won the Best Kyrgyzstan Player of the year award in 2009 as the 23-year-old was instrumental to Dodoi Bishkek’s achievement that season. Daniel made his debut for Kyrgyzstan in 2014 as African-born player representing Kyrgyzstan on the international stage.
In 2018, he signed a one-year contract with Bangladesh Premier League club Chittagong Abahani Limited. After one season in Chittagong, now he has moved to Shan United. “I’m very happy with the Club. I want to help the Club in AFC Cup. I’ve played AFC Cup 8 times and I believe my experience can assist the Club in international tournament,” Daniel expressed his feelings towards Shan United.
