Shan United representing Shan State have inked a 18-month deal with former Yadanarbon FC defender Thang Hope Htan, the Taunggyi-based club announced.

The center-back with a height of 5 ft. and 11 inch started his professional career at Chin United in 2012 and moved to Yadanarbon FC in 2018. He was signed by Shan United after his contract with Yadanarbon FC has expired. Shan United released five footballers including three foreign players and former Myanmar international midfielder Tin Win Aung after the first round of the MNL 2019.

The club sealed Nigerian striker Emmanuel, Ivory Coast midfielder Maximum, Cameroonian defenders William and Thang Hope Htan for the second round of the MNL 2019.—By Kyaw Htike Soe
