IN  preparation  for  General  Aung San Shield 2019, as well as for the next half of the MPT Myanmar  National  League  2019 season, Shan United has signed  half-season  contracts  with  three  foreign  players,  including  centre-back  play-er  William,  Midfielder  Maxi-min  and  Striker  Emmanuel,  according  to  Shan  United  FC.

The  three  are  described  as  experienced  expatriate  players  from  the  Myanmar  National League, said a Shan United official.

William and Maximin pre-viously played in Shan United, whereas  Emmanuel  scored  13 goals for Yangon United in the last season, Shan United officials stated.

The 29 year old Cameroo-nian  Defender,  William  was  once  a  key  player  for  Shan  United.

The  26  years  old  Ivorian  Midfielder Maximin played for the  Cyprus  club  Kucuk  Kay-makli in 2018, Shan United in 2016  and  2017,  Yadanarbon  FC in 2014 and 2015, and BEC Tero in 2013.

The 22 years old Nigeri-an Striker Emmanuel played for Yangon United in 2018 and GFA FC in 2017.

He   also   played   for   Yadanarbon  FC  in  2016  and  2017.

“Football is a team game. I’ll  give  my  best  for  my  old  team.  I’m  glad  to  be  back  here  again.  I  feel  like  I’m  home,  as  I  have  been  play-ing  here  since  2016.  I’ll  do  all  I  can  for  this  team,”  said  William.

The newly-signed players are ready to take the challenge and Head Coach Aung Naing said he will decide to let them play depending on the team’s needs and their fitness.
