SINGAPOREAN team made documentary about electrification at Thar Pyae village and 10 quarters in Monywa Township.

The documentary crew filmed improvement of socio-economic life of the local people in Monywa township, Sagaing Region as they have got access to electricity due to tranformers installed by Hitachi Soe Electric and Machinery company Limited. They also gathered voices of the people benefited by electricity. They have also filmed in villages in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon from 13th to 16th May. Shootings of international advertisement, filming documentaries and movies are rising following Ministry of Information and related departments have relaxed of rules concerning the documentaries.—MNA (Translated by Alphonsus)
