Myeik 19 April

Torrential downpours hit Mazaubyingyi village in Myeik Township, Taninthayi Region in the evening of April 18 and it destroyed some houses, according to the Township General Administration Department. 

Due to the strong winds, six houses collapsed and a monastery and five houses were partially destroyed. A total of 52 people from these households became homeless.  The townships authorities are arranging to remove the victims to safety places and to provide relief items to them.
