Six more confirmed COVID-19 positive patients being received medical treatment starting from December 12 were discharged from People’s hospital in Mong Khet Township, Shan State (East), after recovering from the virus and tested negative for the virus in the second round of testing.

But the six will also be put under seven-day home quarantine when they arrive in their native villages in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.

Out of 193 COVID-19 positive patients, 185 patients have been discharged from hospitals in Mong Khet Township since July 13 this year. 

Meanwhile, there is currently seven patients in the hospital with COVID-19 in Mong Khet Township.—Township IPRD
