Three people were wounded when a home-used car crashed into a concrete median strip on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway in Ottwin Township, Bago Region, the Ministry of Home Affairs reported.

           

The accident took place between mileposts 143/6 and 143/7 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway at about 5:25 p.m. on September 8 when a Hilux car hit into a concrete median strip after the driver lost control of the car. Firefighters rushed to the scene of accident to carry out the rescue operation. Three men were injured in the incident and two of three injured are said to be in critical condition.

           

The injured people were transferred to Toungoo Hospital and an action has been taken against the driver identified as Hlaing Bwar over reckless driving by the police.—MOHA
