An event to dispense social pension to senior citizens aged 85 and above was held at the meeting hall of the town General Administration Department in Shan Ywarthit sub-Township, Hpa-an District of Kayin State this morning.

On the occasion, 72 elderly people who are eligible to receive social pension in the sub-Township received Ks. 30000 each for the months of April, May and June for 2023-2024 FY.

There are a total of 72 elderly people including 26 men and 46 women in seven village tracts in Shan Ywarthit sub-Township in Kayin State.—Zin Lay (IPRD)
