A ceremony to provide social pension to senior citizens over 85 years old in the town of Kunhing, Shan State (South) was held at Township General Administration Department this morning.

First, Township Administrator U Soe Win gave opening remarks and provided K 30,000 each to a total of 136 elderly people over 85 years old. In addition, six elderly people over 100 years old were also provided with K 30,000 of additional cash aids during COVID-19 pandemic via respective ward and village administrators.

Next, the respective ward and village administrators made a domiciliary visit to provide social pension to the elderly people in the town of Kunhing.
