Due to the increase in the water level of Ayeyawady River, water entered into some houses in low-lying areas in Ward-4, Shwegu Township, Kachin State yesterday afternoon. Accordingly, four houses in Ward-4 in the Township were relocated to safety places.

Township Administrator, departmental personnel and officials from Shwegu Township Fire Services Department participated in the relocation of four houses in Ward-4. The family members from the houses were evacuated to a monastery in the ward.
