Mawlamyine, May 18

A ceremony to donate household goods to ex-policemen in Mon state was held at a hall in the town of Mawlamyine, Mon state this morning.

At the event, Brigadier general Ko Ko Maung, commander of southeast command explained the aim of the donation. Then, one of ex-policemen expressed words of gratitude. The southeast command provided household goods worth K 1.10355 million to a total of 155 ex-policemen living in Mon state. The household goods included rice, edible oil, peas and salt.—Mudon Maung Maung
