A delegation led by spiritual leader and peace ambassador Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a prominent figure in humanitarian efforts from India, arrived in Myanmar yesterday evening by air.

The distinguished guest Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and his delegation were warmly welcomed at Yangon International Airport by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, regional ministers and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, representatives from the Indian Embassy to Myanmar and Myanmar youth. — MNA/KZL
