A house for medical superintendent and an apartment for staff are being built in the compound of a public hospital in Thongwa Township, Yangon Region.

The staff housings are being constructed with the fund of the Ministry of Health and Sports. The house for medical superintendent has been cent percent finished and the four-storey staff housing is about 60 percent completed, said an official from a private construction company that won a tender for the project.

Construction of the staff housings aim at offering better healthcare services to the public and ensuring convenient accommodation for the medical staff.
