Than Tlang, 5 March

A stake-driving ceremony for construction of new General Administration Department’s office was held in the town of Than Tlang, Haka District, Chin State this morning.

First of all, Rev. Dr. Lal Uk said an opening prayer and gave blessing for the new office. Next, U Toe Win, Secretary of Chin State Government, the District Administrator U Wai Maung, the township Administrator U Aung Swe Myint and Rev. Dr. Lal Uk drove the stakes at the designated places of the construction site and sprinkled scented water on it.

Also present on the occasion were Secretary of Chin State Government, the District Administrator, the township Administrator, departmental officials, invited guests, Pastors and community leaders.

The new office measuring 90 ft. in length, 30 ft. in width and 24 ft. in height will be built by spending K 232.5 million allocated by the regional government.—Yaw Na, IPRD
