A stake-driving ceremony for construction of the office of Department of Sports and Physical Education was held in the town of Chiphwe, Kachin State on 27 December.

The building measuring 50 ft. in length, 35 ft. in width and 12 ft. in height will be built by spending K 58 million allocated by the government.

Director of the state Department of Sports and Physical Education U Aung Thu, the township General Administration Department U Nyunt Swe, departmental officials and officials from Hein Group Sky Company attended the ceremony and drove the stakes at the designated places of the construction site and sprinkled scented water on it.

Afterwards, the state Department of Sports and Physical Education U Aung Thu donated sports items to the township Department of Sports and Physical Education.
