A stake-driving ceremony for construction of new school facility was held in Myothar Village, Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region yesterday morning.

At the event, U Min Thein, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative, Daw The Su Wai, the region Hluttaw Representative, U Zaw Win, the township Administrator, U Aung San from the township Education officer’s office, U San Win from the Third Party, officials from Shwe Htet Min Company, U Win Naing, Administrator of Myothar village, U Thet Tun, headmaster of the school and U Han Sein, chairman of the school development committee drove the stakes at the designated places of the construction site and sprinkled scented water on it.
The two-story school building measuring 100 ft. in length and 30 ft. in width will be built by spending K 144 million allocated by the regional government, according to an official.
