A ceremony to drive stake for construction of a new school building was held in the compound of the post-primary school in Suatngai Ward in the Town of Tanai, Kachin State this morning.
Staff officer of the Township Department of Immigration and Population U Nyi Nyi Zaw, member of the Township Administration Council U Zaw Luan Toe, staff officer of the Township Education officer’s office Daw Shwe Nay Zin, township level officials and officials from Basic Education Schools attended the event and drove the stakes at the designated places of the construction site and sprayed it with scented water.
The two-story school facility measuring 90 ft. in length and 30 ft. in width will be constructed by a tender winning company with the Union fund.—Manaw Mye(Tanai)
