A ceremony to drive stakes for the construction of new station of the Township Fire Services Department took place yesterday morning in Kyangin Township, Myanaung District of Ayeyarwady Region.

Deputy Director of the Region Fire Services Department U Ko Ko Oo, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Thein Tan and member-2 of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Kyaw, staff officer of the Township Fire Services Department U Ko Ko Naing and Daw Ommar Soe from OHMAR Ayar Construction Company attended the ceremony and drove the stakes at the designated places of the construction site and sprinkled scented water on it.

At the event, in charge person of the construction company discussed matters relating to the construction work of the new station. Next, Deputy Director of the Region Fire Services Department stressed the importance of quality construction and instructed to meet the construction deadlines.

The two-story fire station which is 45 ft. in length 50 ft. in width and 26 ft. in height will be constructed by OHMAR Ayar Construction Company with Ks.107.45 million allocated by regional government.  The station is scheduled to be completed by the end of February 2024, according to an official from the Township Fire Services Department.—Township IPRD
