Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar on 23 May 2019 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
 

At the meeting, the State Counsellor and Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar discussed matters on promotion of bilateral relations and cooperation, labour cooperation, people to people contact and culture, road connectivity and trade sectors, cooperation for the development of border areas and promotion of investment and humanitarian assistance in Rakhine State.
 

Also present at the meeting were U Myint Thu, Permanent Secretary, senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and officials from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand. —MNA
