Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received Her Imperial Highness Princess Yoko of Mikasa, at 10:00 am on 16December 2019 at her residence in Nay Pyi Taw.
At the meeting, they cordially discussed matters relating to the significance of historic places of Myanmar Princess Yoko had visited during her trip, traditional and cultural affinities between Myanmar and Japan and further enhancement of friendly ties between Myanmar and Japan.—MNA
