A strong wind hit Okpho Township, Tharyawady District, Bago Region at 4:00 pm on 5 May and flipped over the roofs of houses and religious buildings in the Township.

The strong wind flipped over the roofs of 123 houses and two religious building and destroyed 13 houses in 16 village tracks in the Township. But no injuries were reported.

Officials from the Township Natural Disaster Management Committee and the Township Administration Department and responsible persons presented the relief items to the storm victims.—Aung Thu Swe, Township IPRD
