An event to provide cash and kind to victims affected by the gusty winds was held at the office of the General Administration Department in Kyonpyaw Township, Ayeyawady Region on 3 September.

At the ceremony, concerned officials from the Department of Disaster Management presented relief items such as construction materials and rice worth Ks. 305,200 to the 12 storm victims from three households. The township disaster prevention and supervisory committee also furnished the storm victims with Ks. 400,000.—Nay Win Shein (IPRD)
