Strong winds damaged 17 houses in Wards and villages in Danubyu Township, Ayeyawady Region on 29 May.

The gusty wind destroyed one house in Ward-16, one in Wards-12, one house in Hnekyo Village, five houses in Yaylegyi Village, one house in Painswannan Village, one house in Kyaungsu Village, two houses in Htikwe Village, four houses in Kinpongyaung Village and flipped over one house in Tawkwe Village.

The storm victims are taking shelter in their relatives’ houses. But no casualty was reported in the incident.—Maung Thu Hein (Danubyu)
