Gusts of winds that started in the evening of May 2 damaged over 525 houses including religious building and schools in some villages in Pantanaw Township, Ayeyawady Region. 

 

A powerful wind hits Pantanaw Township at about 6:30 pm on 2 May and flipped over the roofs of two monasteries and 425 houses. In addition, three school buildings and 95 houses were collapsed by strong wind that hits some villages in the Township.
