Ahtet Minhla, 9 May

A strong wind hit in some villages in Minhla Township of Magway Region at about 8:30 am on May 9 and damaged 80 houses including two religious buildings. 

Strong wind toppled down six houses and blew out the roofs of 53 houses including a monastery in Kahnyinkyi Village, one monastery and five houses in Yedwinmyaung Village, one in Linke Village, six in Peyin Village, one in North Hmyagon Village, six in Sinmadaung Village, one in Zitaw Village and two in Bwe Village in the Township. 

But no casualties were reported in the incident. Officials led by Chairman of the Township Administration Council paid a domiciliary visit to provide assistance to the victims of strong wind in the villages in the Township.—Zar Zar(Ahtet Minhla)
