Pyawbwe 25 April

Strong winds hit Pyawbwe Township, Yamethin District, Mandalay Region at about 9 pm on 24 April, destroying some houses in wards and villages in the township. 

The strong winds forced the trees to fall down, some signboards were destroyed, and network cable and power lines were also broken down. In addition, roofs of some houses were flipped over. However no casualties were reported in the incident. 

With the guidance of Township Administration Council, departmental officials are conducting rescue operations in the disaster affected areas.
