A strong wind hit Pakweyayle, Thetkekyun, Pakwe, Kudoseik, Yayle, Tharduchaung, Nyaunbinthar, Htonedapo and Mayokha village-tracks in Zalun Township, Hinthada District, Ayeyawady Region at 2:30 pm yesterday and damaged 28 houses.

A powerful wind destroyed 12 houses and flipped over the roofs of 16 houses in nine village-tracks in the Township. The storm also flipped over the roof of B.E.M.S in ThetkeKyun Village but no casualties were reported, it is learnt.—Waiyan-Zalone, IPRD
