Students aged 12 to 18 received their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the B.E.H.S-1 in the town of Naungcho, Shan State (North) this morning.

During the vaccination campaign, healthcare workers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of the students in collaboration with volunteers before administering the vaccine to them and watched them for 30 minutes after giving the vaccine.

Under this vaccination program, a total of 500 students from B.E.H.S.-1 and sub-B.E.M.S.-1 were given the booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Healthcare workers continue to give the vaccine to the remaining students in the Township.

Officials from the Township Administration Council participated in the vaccination campaign and provided necessary assistance to health care workers.—Htway Nge(Naungcho IPRD)
