Students aged 12 and below received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccines at the designated vaccination sites in the Town of Mongyu, Mongyawng District in Shan State (East) this morning.

Healthcare workers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of the students before giving the vaccine to them and watched them for 30 minutes after administering the vaccine.

Under this vaccination program, a total of 15 students including three students from Mongyu B.E.H.S., eight from Kawsamein sub-B.E.M.S. and four from Wannanmyat B.E.P.S. in the Town were given the vaccine in line with COVID-19 health guidelines.—A Chya
