Tharkayta 17 October

With the aim of controlling the spread of COVID-19, students aged between 12 and 18 years in Thakayta Township, Yangon Region are being vaccinated against COVID-19 on October 17.

There have been a total of 484 students to receive the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 81 students to receive the second dose of the vaccine. Under the guidance of the Township Administrator, the vaccination campaign is jointly conducted by officials from the Township Department of Public Health and Basic Education Department with the help of social organization and school development committee.

In the township, a total of 20285 students have received first dose of the vaccine and 14981 students have received second dose of the vaccine.
