As part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, students aged five and above have been vaccinated against COVID-19 since June 26 at the designated vaccination sites in Lewe Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.

During the campaign, healthcare workers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of the students before administering the vaccine to them and watched them for 30 minutes after giving the vaccine.

A total of 2936 students including 687 KG students and 2249 students aged 12 to 18 were vaccinated against COVID-19 by medical workers.

Healthcare workers continue to give the vaccine to the remaining students in the Township.—We Kyi(IPRD)
