A ceremony to open a Basic English course, jointly organized by the Township Information and Public Relations Department and Education Department, was held at the community center of Information and Public Relations Department in Kyunhla Township, Kanbalu District, Sagaing Region this morning.

During the ceremony, staff officer of the Township Information and Public Relations Department U Phoe Cho delivered an opening speech and clarified the purposes of the course and stressed English is an international language which is very useful and beneficial for us.

The 20-day training course is being attended by 22 trainees including nine girls and 13 boys from Basic Education Schools in the Township. In order to improve knowledge of students, informative talks, talent shows and completions are being conducted in the Township.—Myo Win Nyo(Kyun Hla)
