A summer basic painting training course was launched at the community center of the Township Information and Public Relations in Tanai Township, Myitkyina district, Kachin state yesterday morning.

At the event, Daw War Oo, township officer of Tanai Township IPRD talked about the aim of the course, followed by an explanation on subjects included in the course by U Kaung Htet Lwin, a teacher from Basic Education Primary School in Tanai.

A total of 49 schoolchildren, 22 in primary level and 27 in secondary level, enrolled in the course that will run from April 26 to May 31.

The subjects about painting will be taught to the trainees from 10:00 am to 12 noon in weekdays.— Township IPRD
