A ceremony to wrap up a summer sports training course, organized by the Township Sports and Physical Education Department, was held at the Dawna hall of Infantry Battalion in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State yesterday.

During the ceremony, Colonel San Htoo Kyaw from Infantry Battalion based in Hlaingbwe delivered an opening speech and gave words of encouragement to the trainees.

Afterwards, staff officer of the Township Sports and Physical Education Department Daw Mi Nanda Mon clarified the purposes of the training course. This was followed by the presentation of completion certificates to the trainees by officials.

The training course which ran from April 22 to May 2 was attended by 66 trainees including 26 boys and 40 girls from Hlaingbwe Infantry Battalion. The training course covers football and Myanmar Fitness Dance.—Lin Thant(IPRD)
