Karathuri 6 March

A surprise check was conducted on motorists and motorcyclists in Karathuri, Kawthoung District, Taninthayi Region this morning if they are in breach of traffic rules and get involved in drug trafficking.

Those involved in the surprise check were the Administrator of Karathuri and local police, local authorities and departmental officials.

The authorities also plan to launch an awareness campaigns on traffic rules and regulations to local people in the near future.—Karathuri IPRD
