Kanpetlet 14 February

A suspension bridge is being constructed in Khaukbonkyin village in Kanpetlet Township, Mindat District, Chin State by the Township Department of Rural Development.

The bridge which is 400 ft in length, 4.5 ft in width and 30 ft in height is being constructed with K 10 million allocated by funds of village development project, K 4 million funded by Hluttaw and K 5 million contributed by local residents.

Now, it has been completed by 70 percent. Upon completion, it brings socioeconomic development of 571 people from 92 households nearby villages, said an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
