THE Department of Social Welfare under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement will be recruit­ing trainees for school-based domestic vocational training courses at its schools in ten big cities including Yangon.

 

The seventh training will take place at its schools locat­ed in Yangon, Mandalay, Maw­lamyine, Pathein, Toungoo, Myitkyina, Pyapon, Sittway, Ywangan and Dawei from 6 January to 14 February 2025.

 

The training will provide sewing courses (women, children, men’s clothing, and coats), domestic handicraft training (crochet, embroidery, sewing), baking, cooking and floral design training with do­mestic and foreign experts through technical and prac­tical approaches.

 

There are eight batches every academic year, with each batch taking six weeks. Moreover, schools in Yangon, Mandalay, Mawlamyine and Pathein cities offer other spe­cial training courses.
