Employees from the Department of Relief and Resettlement under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided relief supplies to internally displaced persons in MraukU Township, Rakhine State on 29 April.

The displaced people are currently taking shelter at temporary rescue camps after they left their homes due to escalating clashes between the Tatmadaw and the Arakan Army. The provisions were presented to the displaced people by Assistant Director of the the Department of Relief and Resettlement Daw Nang Moe Ngwe at the relief camps.

They furnished 461 displaced people from 153 households with clothing and rice through in-charges of the temporary rescue camps.—IPRD
